Hazardous Waste Training
This 4-Hour course satisfies requirements set by 40 CFR 262.34(a) and 40 CFR 265.16. Employees must be trained within 6 months of hire and then each year thereafter.
Who needs this training?
'Hazardous Waste Personnel', defined by US EPA RCRA regulations as "...all persons who work at, or oversee the operations of, a hazardous waste facility and whose actions or failure to act may result in noncompliance with the requirements (of the RCRA regulations)." This includes personnel at large quantity (LQG) and small quantity (SQG) generator facilities. While training is not required for VSQGs (very small quantity generators), they may find value in having employees trained.

Identifying and/or characterizing solid and hazardous waste

Operating a waste generating process

Reading and applying Federal or state hazardous waste regulations
Upon successful course completion, you will:
