OSHA 10-Hour for Construction

This course is an awareness level training for non-supervisory level employees performing construction work such as carpenters, laborers, electricians, plumbers, masons, welders, etc., and covers the construction specific safety measures under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.


If you're employed in the construction industry, it's crucial to be able to recognize, steer clear of and report the health and safety hazards you come across daily.  This course ensures you have the knowledge to effectively handle typical job-site risks, promoting a safe work environment.

Upon course successful course completion, you will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of OSHA in providing safe and healthy workplaces.

  • Identify common hazards in the construction industry and learn how to prevent them.

  • Understand workers' rights and employers' responsibilities under OSHA.

  • Recognize the role of the competent person in workplace safety.

  • Develop an understanding of how to read and utilize labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for safe operations.
