OSHA 30-Hour for Construction

This course is designed to give supervisory level construction workers the additional training needed to create and sustain a job-site safety culture under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.

This comprehensive course will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, prevent and address construction related hazards.

Upon course successful course completion, participants will be able to:

  • Understand OSHA's role in construction workplace safety and the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees.

  • Keep effective records and understand their importance in relation to reporting.

  • Recognize and prevent construction related safety and health hazards.

  • Develop an understanding of how to read and utilize labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for safe operations.

  • Safely handle, use and dispose of materials on a job site.

  • Identify the key reasons for incident investigations and future prevention measures.

  • Recognize the importance of competency in the workplace.
